Overview & Teams

Tilton's Interscholastic Athletic Program is designed with the idea that all student-athletes have the power to reach their potential in a number of areas through interscholastic sports. It is our belief that athletic competition allows our student-athletes the opportunities to learn about living a fit lifestyle, school spirit, cooperation, sportsmanship, leadership and good decision-making under pressure. The interscholastic team sports and our coaching staff provide these opportunities at all levels for participating students. Together our student-athletes, parents, coaches, and teachers build strong partnerships and a wonderful sense of community.

Female Athlete of the Winter
Olivia Orlando
Grad Year: 2017
Sophomore captain Olivia Orlando led the girls' varsity basketball team to its sixth straight Lakes Region Championship and sixth straight appearance in the NEPSAC Championship. Orlando led the Rams in points per game (14.8), total rebounds (256), field goal percentage (58%), steals (90), and was second on the team in asssits (132). She was also chosen as both a Lakes Region all-star and NEPSAC all-star for the second consecutive season. 
Male Athlete of the Winter
Terance Mann
Grad Year: 2015
A senior captain for the boys' basketball team, Terance Mann led the Rams to a 31-5 record this year and the NEPSAC AA Championship. Mann averaged 23.1 points and 7.3 rebounds per game while shooting 61 percent from inside the arc. He was also named the 2015 NEPSAC AA Player of the Year, a First Team All-NEPSAC Selection, and a McDonald’s All-American Nominee. Next season, Mann will play Division I basketball for the Florida State Seminoles.
