Join us for Powder Keg/Homecoming! 11/4/2011
Greetings friends of Tilton School,
Yes, it’s true – the campus was white this week! A rare October storm graced us with its presence late Saturday afternoon, and after snowing through the night, television estimates were that 19 inches of snow blanketed the Tilton-Northfield area. After a Halloween day that was more like spring than fall, I’m happy to report the melting is just about over!

A New School Year Begins 9/7/2011
Hello from Tilton School,
What a few days it has been! More than 100 preseason athletes arrived on Thursday, September 1 to begin team practices, on Sunday, September 4 the international students began their orientation and adjustment to the time change and on Monday, September 5 the school welcomed the remainder of the student body and its families to campus. Lead by the tradition of a bagpiper, the school community processed to the first school meeting while cameras flashed and smart phones recorded video.

Graduation, Alumni Weekend & Annual Fund Goal 7/20/2011
Summer greetings from the Hill –
I am thrilled to have caught up with so many of you during last month’s Alumni Weekend! Nearly 200 alumni joined us on campus as various points during the weekend, including representatives from the classes of 1942-2009. Keeping with tradition, the rain joined us on Saturday, although it wasn’t enough to dampen spirits on campus.

 Hats Off to You! 5/13/2011
With only three weeks left in the academic semester, we’ve reached the point in the year when we’re running on all cylinders and – despite the lengthening daylight – there never seems to be quite enough hours in the day! That said, I’m reenergized for the final stretch after a weekend with all major constituent groups on campus.

Spring Greetings from the Hill 4/12/2011 Spring greetings from the Hill,
After what seemed like an endless winter – and even more endless snowfall – we could not have asked for a nicer four-day stretch of weather on campus! The typical signs of spring are abundant with flowers in bloom, the fields finally dry enough for our spring sports teams to begin practicing and the quad alive with pick-up sports games.

 Winter Greetings from Tilton! 2/23/2011
Greetings from Tilton School,
Last Tuesday evening I had the opportunity to partake in the annual 100 Days Dinner. While I have been fortunate to attend many of these dinners in my various roles at Tilton School, I continue to be touched by the words of the senior class speakers – while all three students offered different sentiments, each referenced change and how influential the school has been in their personal growth and development. It is moments like these when I am particularly grateful for the generous support of our donors who allow each and every Tilton student to uncover the power of their potential.

Happy New Year from Tilton School 1/12/2011 Happy New Year!
With a well-deserved winter break officially over and students and faculty back on campus, we feel fortunate to have such a dynamic and engaged student body again this year. It is through the generous support of our loyal donors that we are able to provide the Tilton Experience and ensure that each student meets the power of their potential.
