Candy has been affiliated with Tilton School since 1983. She has worked in the Admissions Office since 1988, now serving as the Associate Director of Admissions . Candy, holds a bachelor’s degree in political science from the University of New Hampshire and has recently completed a master's degree in organizational leadership from Southern New Hampshire University. Along with her duties in the Admissions Office, she coordinates the Tilton Ambassador Program, and is also an advisor to 11th and 12th grade students. Candy lives on campus with her husband, Mike, who is an English teacher and the academic dean. They have two daughters, Lauren '02 and Ashley.
Geoffrey "Geoff" Blum
Assistant Director of Admissions and Coordinator of Financial Aid
Geoff has been with Tilton School since 2005. He is familiar with independent schools, having attended The Taft School in Watertown, Conn., and having taught math at Portsmouth Abby in Portsmouth, R.I., as his first job after college. Prior to coming to Tilton, Geoff was managing partner of Sales & Marketing Solutions in Weston, Mass., a private consulting firm providing marketing and business development assistance to various high-tech businesses. Geoff's 20-plus years in business development spanned working for various companies, such as Booz-Allen & Hamilton, Compaq Computer, Prime Computer, Deloitte Consulting, Brio Technology and Pacer Software. His corporate background, coupled with his experiences in independent schools, make him a natural match for admissions work at Tilton School. Geoff holds a bachelor’s degree in computer science from Union College in Schenectady, N.Y., and a master’s degree in business administration from Babson College in Mass. He coaches varsity tennis and resides on campus.
Luke joined the Tilton staff in September 2012 as the Assistant Director of Admissions and the assistant men's varsity lacrosse coach, and now also serves as the Assistant Athletic Director. He graduated from Lawrence Academy and attended Deerfield Academy as a postgraduate student before attending Gettysburg College in Pennsylvania. He earned his Bachelor of Science degree in Business Management and applied that degree to multiple jobs in the fields of events and athletics - specifically lacrosse. He was most recently the assistant men’s lacrosse coach at Colby College where he helped the Mules reach the quarterfinals of the NESCAC tournament. Luke has also been with Bitter Lacrosse since the company’s inception back in 2010 and now serves as one of their Directors. He is in charge of the master scheduling and scorekeeping for each BLX event, as well as general oversight of operations at each tournament. Luke resides on campus in Quimby House.
Assistant Director of Admissions & Director of Summer Programming
DustinGood joined Tilton School in the fall of 2015 as an Admissions Associate & Director of Summer Programming. He is a 2004 graduate of Wyoming Seminary and 2008 graduate of SUNY College at Cortland (BA, History & Communication). Prior to joining Tilton School, Dustin worked as a teacher and coach at The Montclair Kimberley Academy in New Jersey. There he taught middle school Social Studies and was the head varsity hockey coach, guiding the team to four consecutive League Championships. He also spent a year at the EBC English Institution in South Korea as a head English teacher. Dustin is also the Head Coach of the varsity B hockey team.
Admissions Associate, Head Boys' Hockey Coach, Rink Manager
In August 2015, Brooks was appointed Head Boys' Hockey Coach and Rink Manager, along with his continued duties as an Admissions Associate. A 2004 graduate of Tilton, Brooks joined the Tilton faculty as member of the Learning Center staff in 2010 after spending a year as an assistant coach with the varsity hockey and baseball programs. At Tilton he has also served as a teacher in the CAA, Director of Summer Programming and a member of our Residential Life Staff. As a Level 4 instructor with USA Hockey, Brooks is an active member of the New England district coaching program. Brooks earned a B.A. from the University of New Hampshire in 2008, and an M.B.A. with a certificate in Investment and Finance from Plymouth State University in 2013. Brooks lives on campus with his wife, Susie.
Sharon joined the Admissions Office in 2012. Prior to joining Tilton School her experience included office management, marketing, customer service and event coordination. Sharon's responsibilities include managing the work flow from the beginning of the application process right through the processing of final decisions. She may well be the first person you speak with on the phone should you call our office. Outside of the office, Sharon enjoys spending time with her family at Webster Lake in Franklin, N.H., and traveling to her camp in the Northeast Kingdom of Vt.
