The Sabra M. Hamilton Health Center, located in West Knowles, serves the health needs of the Tilton School community. Managed by LRGHealthcare, a fully licensed health care provider in the state of New Hampshire, the Health Center is open to students Monday through Friday from 7:30 a.m. to 7:30 p.m., Saturdays from 7:30 a.m. to noon, and Sundays from 10:00 a.m. to noon. A registered nurse is on call at all other times. Additional services are also available in the Health Center for more routine care and are payable directly to the service provider.
Twice weekly a physician from Westside Health Care provides routine care and treatment for students in the Health Center. Dr. Paul Friend, our Medical Director, sees the students either in the Health Center on campus or in his office in Franklin, NH in close proximity to Tilton School. He is assisted by Dr. Melissa Hanrahan.
Students needing urgent care may be seen at the physician's office and charged for the services provided at that time or may be sent to the local emergency room just five minutes from campus. Additional services are also available in the Health Center for more routine care and are payable directly to the service provider.
