Tilton School seeks to employ faculty and staff who help prepare students to embrace and navigate a world marked by diversity and change.
Our faculty members are athletes and artists, pilots and poets, marathon runners and international travelers - all with a devotion to adolescent development and the value of an independent school education. At Tilton School, we believe we do more than educate - we ignite a passion for lifelong learning. We look to attract and retain teachers eager to lead meaningful educational change. Qualified candidates have earned a Bachelor's, Master’s, and/or Doctoral degrees in one or more academic fields and are passionate about their students’ and their own growth.
Successful Tilton School teachers participate in the full life of our boarding community within and beyond the classroom. A typical workload for teachers includes teaching 50-60 students in four or five classes, leading two seasons of afternoon programming in the arts, athletics or community service, and guiding student growth within our residential and advisor programs.
Even if we do not have an immediate opening in your field, if you are eager to live and work in an exciting learning community, we invite you to submit your resume and cover letter for our review.
