A rich history. A bold experience.
Since the founding of Tilton School in 1845 we have remained true to our mission: to educate the whole student to their fullest potential. This means over 170 years of fueling curiosity, igniting passions, and fostering a love for learning.
Tilton School is a private school in New Hampshire where students are challenged, encouraged to seek, and find and explore their passions.
Tilton School is where a student can discover the power of their potential.
At the intersection of old + new.
Educating our youth for a rapidly changing future is not a simple task and cannot be achieved through traditional educational approaches alone. So how do we best prepare our children? By arming them with the skills to reason, to problem-solve, to collaborate, and to create. Because in order to navigate the future they will need the skills to invent the future.
We have evolved so that we are not just educating about the past, we are educating for the future.
WE ARE TILTON SCHOOL
A Tilton School education provides our graduates with a powerful sense of purpose that ensures that no matter how the world changes, they will have the essential skills and motivation to positively contribute to the world as lifelong learners who find joy and fulfillment in creating meaningful change.
We felt the connection to Tilton the first moment we arrived on campus and our daughter has blossomed; the rigor of scheduled study halls, the academic support and the warmth of the faculty and staff have all made a huge difference in our lives.
