Our Facilities

Tilton School’s athletic facilities include an artificial turf field built in 2014; an enclosed, on-campus ice arena with fully renovated locker rooms; a full size gymnasium with a college-sized basketball court; and several additional grass playing surfaces located at the Charles E. Tilton Fields.

Burch Field

A state-of-the art artificial turf field opened in October 2014 in honor of alumnus J. Christopher Burch ‘72, Burch Field is home to Tilton’s field sports including boys’ and girls’ soccer, field hockey and football in the fall and boys’ and girls’ lacrosse in the spring.

The field also offers a spring training facility for softball and baseball.

Memorial Athletic Recreational Center (MARC)

The Memorial Athletic Recreational Center, also known as the MARC, includes a college-sized basketball court for games and an additional high school-sized court for practice space.  Both are home to Tilton’s varsity and sub-varsity level basketball teams.  

A weight room is located on the lower level, while a cardio room and wrestling room are located on the upper level. The facility also includes an Athletic Training Room staffed by two certified athletic trainers (LATC), an Equipment Room, multiple locker room spaces for home and away teams, and Tilton’s Student Center and snack bar (Rusty’s Den).

MacMorran Fieldhouse

The MacMorran Field House, located on campus, is home to Tilton’s 200 X 90 ice sheet and serves as the home ice for Tilton’s varsity A and B hockey teams and varsity girls’ hockey program.  

The facility also includes six locker rooms, renovated within the last five years, a skate sharpening room and a snack bar.

Charles E. Tilton Fields

The Charles E. Tilton Fields, located less than a mile from campus in Northfield, N.H., includes a softball diamond, two baseball diamonds, a grass football field and three grass fields for boys soccer and girls soccer.  

The soccer and football teams split their game and practice time between the Charles E. Tilton Fields and Burch Field, while the facility hosts all home contests for softball and baseball.
