Tilton Families,

As we approach arrival dates for boarding students from outside of New England, we are diligently preparing campus for a healthy reopening. Dorms and common areas have been set for proper social distancing protocols, and we have increased the number of outdoor spaces for students to socialize and connect. Although we are planning and operating with great caution, we want to do our best to ensure students experience Tilton as a true “home away from home.”

As you plan for campus arrival, we offer a few reminders:

  • Upon campus arrival, students will need to present a NEGATIVE COVID test result dated within five to seven days prior. The test should be an FDA approved "PCR" test, which is the most common form.
  • Parents and guardians should read our letter regarding the risks of COVID. We will distribute this document for electronic signature (in a separate email).
  • Students should read, commit to, and sign the “Ram Nation Community Pact” which outlines some new expectations in response to COVID. This document will also be distributed in a separate email for electronic signature.

Recently, students received an email from our Student Life Team which detailed the move-in process, including dorm and roommate contact. An important pre-registration form was included in this email. If you and your child have not yet filled out this pre-registration form, please do so as soon as possible.

  • Registration A: for Boarding Students from Outside of New England and Boarding Proctors
  • Registration B: for Day Students
  • Registration C: for New England Boarding Students

Please read each form carefully because it contains important details. Once these forms have been completed, a link to schedule an appointment for registration will appear on the confirmation screen; please make sure you follow that link and select an appointment time.

Lastly, we have redesigned our Fall Reopening Updates web page to include frequently asked questions, important travel dates, packing lists, textbook ordering information, and audio from past Zoom sessions. You can also see photos of how we've prepared campus for student arrival! We will continue to update and add to these resources, so please check back often, and don’t hesitate to reach out with questions or comments.
